Fan Casting Snake-Man

Sam Green a.k.a Snake-Man, id a grumpy yet passionate archeologist, paleobiologist and explorer on one day he goes to an island finds a magic item but is beaten up by a old man named Keyaka is knocked out and wakes up in a hospital and has the voice of a God (who eventually turns out to be evil) and gives Sam powers such as super strength, poisonous touch, snake venom immunity and a healing factor (the healing factor is powered by the God, so when he defeats the God he loses it).
