Dealing with burnout and feelings of failure struggling actor David attempts to alleviate his stress through a beautiful island vacation with his wife Jessica. Unexpectedly the two run into David's college roommate Tom, who now runs a successful company. Accompanied by his wife Hanna Tom strikes up a friendship with David and Jessica, and the two couples begin making themselves comfortable. However, resentment and the island's dark past begin to present themselves, with brutal consequences.
