After a strange incident, Rick Sheridan begins to have dreams and nightmares about bizarre parallel worlds.

Believing that the boy has found a way to access the multiverse through dreaming, corrupt psychiatrist Johann Fennhoff Faustus hands the boy's mother over to the Cobweb, an outlaw entity in the dream dimension.

To rescue her, Rick must ally with Sleepwalker, patroller of this strange kingdom, and face the villains.
