Description of Kendra Young (Slayer):

Kendra is of Angels bloodline & is from New Orleans, she travels to New York to train under the Watcher Giles. She’s the wisest slayer and also the brightest student, her knowledge of the Nightworld is vast. Socially, she struggles to let her walls down, always keeping everyone at arms reach. Kendra grew up with an abusive step father and had believed her mother had walked out on her, never giving up hope that her mother would come back to rescue her but because she never did, teaching Kendra to never depend on anyone else. Only later to learn her mother was murdered by a Werewolf. This affects her later on when she starts a relationship with Oz
