Description of Mateo:

An Argentine master who specializes in the Life Element, and notably helped the main heroes save Earth and Skylands from the Magic Eater five years ago. Now in his mid-twenties, Mateo has become an heralded researcher of the various magical flora and fauna born of the introduction of magic to Earth, but is called to help out the people of Cloudbreak due to the main heroes being busy in the Lowlands.
