About five months after the defeat of the League Of Villains, Spyro and his friends continue to combat smaller battles. That is until the evil dragon named Malefor arrives with the plan to purge Skylands into pure darkness, allowing him to do so with the rest of the world, nay, the entire universe or multiverse, much easier. Now Spyro, along with both old and new allies, must stop The Dark One before he can have his way.
