Flameslinger was born with bright fires in his eyes that allowed him to see almost anywhere as long as there was a source of fire, but after this gift of his rendered him little more than a tourist attraction, he grew sick of everyone's attention, hid his eyes behind a blindfold and ran off into the woods to hone his skills as an archer. It was during his training that he received a vision of a drowning fire spirit and rescued them, and as a reward was gifted with a pair of magical boots that would make him so fast the ground would be left burning in his wake and an enchanted bow with a set of flaming arrows to match. Speaks with a French accent in the games.
