As the balance of time and space fractures and the rifts grow more and more plentiful, the Darkness has been able to spread its influence across Skylands once more. It's been making deals with wannabe villains of all kinds, and exchanging its power with them for the spread of its influence and a proper way back to Skylands so it can lay the land to waste once more.
