Following her return to Skylands after her stint in the Second Dimension, Flashwing's found herself grappling with the truth about her homeland that she discovered from riftborn intruders: her homeland was doomed to die, and she is the sole survivor and the one who's brought about its destruction. She's never felt more alone and fake than she does now, but she's been forcing herself to put on a mask in more ways than one to hide the pain. Mask her grief an anguish with a smile and some fancy product deals, mask her doubts about her own heroism with a runway strut... But how long can she keep the act will?
