The 2025 film Sinners is about twin brothers Elijah "Smoke" and Elias "Stack" Moore, who return to their 1932 Mississippi hometown to open a juke joint after working for the mob in Chicago. Their plans are disrupted when the opening night of the club is crashed by a supernatural, vampiric evil that is drawn by the music of their cousin Sammie.
