Long after the events of Shrek Forever After, Shrek is a weathered shell of his former self following a tragic event several years prior. Now fending for himself in a decrepit fairy tale landscape, new souls and old faces disrupt his life off the grid. Prompting the aging ogre to embark on a final adventure throughout the land.
