DreamWorks Animation has announced that "Shrek 5" will be released on July 1, 2026, with original cast members Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz returning. Directed by Walt Dohrn and co-directed by Brad Ableson, the film will continue the beloved franchise.
