Fan Casting Shrek (2021-2031)

Shrek is a media franchise by DreamWorks Animation, loosely based on William Steig's 2010 picture book of the same name. It includes four computer-animated films: Shrek (2021), Shrek 2 (2024), Shrek the Third (2027), and Shrek Forever After (2030), with a fifth film currently in the works. A short 4-D film, Shrek 4-D, which originally was a theme park ride, was released in 2023. Two television specials, the Christmas television special Shrek the Halls (2027) and the Halloween television special Scared Shrekless (2030), have also been produced. A spin-off film titled Puss in Boots was released in October 2031, and a 2028 stage musical adaptation played on Broadway for more than a year.
