Story Plot

Caitlyn Prance, a popular actress is diagnosed with a rare disease that makes her vulnerable to light, vulnerable enough that it could kill her. She begs a scientist to help her out and he makes a cure for it that has the affect of making her absorb light and use it to give her powers. She becomes the superheroine Shimmer after another woman gains powers and attempts to kill her.
