Story Plot
IDEA: A Disney+ adaptation television series is based on ''Space Sheriff Shaider'' by Shinichiro Sawai. | PLOT: In college studying archaeology, Alexis (Dennis Trillo) and his girlfriend Annie decipher the symbols of the Southwest in New Zealand. Impressed by this feat, the Galactic Union Police recruit and train him to be Earth's 3rd Space Sheriff. He's given the code name Shaider in memory of an ancient warrior who defeated the Great Emperor Fuuma Lei-ar and brought down the tyrannically infamous Fuuma Empire 12,000 years ago. When Fuuma returns, Alexis is deputized as he returns to Earth to battle Fuuma.
