The first theatrical Sesame Street film; Big Bird is sent to live with the dodo bird family far away from Sesame Street by a pesky social worker named Miss Finch. Unhappy, he runs away from them and is on the run back home where he belongs, prompting the rest of the Sesame Street gang to go on a wild goose chase to search and rescue him.
