nathanbates Okay, I’ll admit I kind of jumped the gun on this one. I didn’t want to end up at “Chinatown but it’s satanism instead of incest” but that’s kind of where I’m at. Basically, the screenwriter in the story unearth a conspiracy linking some of L.A.’s most powerful to a debauched cult that’s actually made contact with some sort of dark supernatural force. It ends with the detective defeated and disgraced but also in possession of the only proof any of it really happened. A peek at the world beyond the void.
