@jarrodosborne the two sides encounter each other in the remote countryside to investigate a seemingly supernatural hound. Hijinks ensue. Scenes from the novel, such as The Man on the Torr are referenced.

And I'm wondering if the gang (Fred, Daphne, and Velma) don't catch up to Scoob and Shaggy until the third act (like in Chill Out Scooby Doo and SCOOB) or they should be with Scoob and Shag throughout the movie

I'd imagine that the Scooby-Doo characters would be designed and animated in the style of the first four direct-to-video Scooby-Doo movies and that I would like this crossover to balance out the comedic tone of Scooby-Doo with the mature tone of Detective Conan and make them work together (just like how they did for the Scooby-Doo/Supernatural crossover).
