He is sent to Arkham Asylum, where he is soon noted by Professor Hugo Strange, who gives him "therapy" in order to train him to defeat Batman. Soon with a newly developed fear toxin, he dons the ego of Scarecrow, who uses his toxin to get back at his abusive father
