Synopsis

Siren Phillips learns that she will turn into a mermaid when she turns 12 years old. To make matters worse, she discovers that her friend's father is part of a group of hunters trying to catch her in which they attracted attention to the police officers and detectives from the 12th Precinct of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) led by Captain Kate Beckett and her husband Richard Castle.

He is a former low-data analyst with the Attorney General Investigative Unit and now a tech analyst with the NYPD's 12th Precinct in which he is also involved in the investigation into Gary Witts and his mermaid hunting activity led by Captain Kate Beckett.
