Parnival Plunder is the orphan son of a nobleman and adventure, Lord Robert Plunder. Parnival's parents went missing looking for a hidden jungle in the Antartica, and Parnival has been obsessed with it ever since. Parnival leads an expedition into this Savage Land to search for signs of his parents, but that is a cover for his search for a third source of vibranium. While there, his crew begins experiencing different phenomena including mutations and finds evidence Plunder's parents survived and had another son, Kevin, aka Ka-Zar, Lord of the Jungle.
