On a fog-shrouded battlefield, two enemy soldiers, one made of branches and the other of stone, lose their way and find themselves face to face. Instead of fighting, the need to survive the freezing cold drives them to work together. Wood offers shelter and stone retains heat. After enduring the cold, the fog is a harsh, icy winter, the two now find themselves facing death—a symbolic death. Through small, silent gestures of healing, the two become inextricably intertwined until, at dawn, they transform into a single natural monument from which a flower blooms, a symbol of a peace taking root where once there was war.
