A 12-year-old boy from New York City whose psychic abilities allow him to see across worlds. Jake has been plagued by visions of the Dark Tower, the Man in Black, and Roland—drawings he fills his room with, convinced they're real. After his mother is murdered and he runs from his home, Jake steps through a haunted door and lands in Mid-World, where he finds the Gunslinger of his dreams.
