Rodan is a 2023 American monster action film produced by Legendary pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. The film was directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois from a screenplay by Will Davies, Sanders, and DeBlois, and stars Timothee Chalamet, Ben Affleck, Michelle Rodriguez, Chloe Grace Mortez, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, Kit Harington, Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds with Aaron Taylor Johnson, O'Shea Jackson Jr, Elizabeth Ludlow and Elizabeth Olsen returning. The story takes place 3 years after Godzilla Vs Kong where a young Military Soldier teenager named Jack Mitchell aspires to follow his Military's tradition of becoming a Titan slayer. After finally capturing his first Titan, a Fire Demon, and with his chance at last of gaining the military's acceptance, he finds that he no longer wants to kill the Titan and instead befriends it, even calling him Rodan.
