When brilliant but obsessive zoologist Dr. Kirk Langstrom accidentally injects himself with a mutagenic serum derived from bat DNA, he transforms into the monstrous Man‑Bat—a creature driven by rage and vengeance against his rival, Dr. Jonathan Crane. Meanwhile, Crane, a sadistic psychiatrist who weaponizes fear, unleashes his terrifying "Scarecrow" persona upon Gotham. As Batman and Robin race to stop Crane's reign of terror, they must also reach the tormented Langstrom before he succumbs fully to his beastly nature—forcing the Dark Knight to confront the thin line between man and monster.
