Fan Casting Vigilante I in Return to the DC Universe

The son of a sheriff in Wyoming born after World War I, Greg Sanders learned how to handle a gun and lasso as well as his father could. When his father was killed by bandits, Greg vowed to fight for justice, taking on the Western-themed mantle of the Vigilante. A part of the Seven Soldiers of Victory, like his teammates, Vigilante was lost in time but found years older. Though briefly retired, he would still fight the good fight until he supposedly died fighting the Sheeda. Surviving, Greg moved to Warpath, near the Mexican border, and continues the good fight there.
