Apache born, Sarah Rainmaker discovered her powers of weather manipulation even before the Genesis Project, which led Ivana Baiul to seek her out, due to her father, the late Stephen Rainmaker, having similar powers due to their experiments. Taken to Tabula Rasa, the secret HQ Bendix used under the guise of a facility to aid young metahumans, Sarah would become well trained, even if she also was distant at times. However, seeing the actions of the fledging Young Justice and her future teammates in Gen 13, Sarah saw the good she could do, and fought for her freedom, sticking with Gen 13 to learn to better use her powers.
