Fan Casting Ra's al Ghul in Return to the DC Universe

Centuries ago, Ra's al Ghul was a simple alchemist, who used the Lazarus Pit to aid a prince, who murdered his wife. To hide the actions, the prince made a shallow grave for Ra's, which led the Demon's Head to plot his revenge and to keep the secret of immortality for himself. Seeing humanity as a disease, Ra's al Ghul over the centuries has sought to bring a balance to control humanity, leading the League of Assassins to be able to do so, which has led him into battle with Batman and Earth's heroes, even willing to use his own grandson Damian in his plans.
