A return to the pre-Flashpoint Earth 0 of the DC Omniverse, showing how it and the multiverse it is tied to have changed thanks to events such as Convergence and the aftermath of Dark Knights Death Metal., exploring how it is a similar, but bold new world and remind fans of the old still standing with the new. Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Mento (Steve Dayton):

One of the wealthiest men in the world, Steve Dayton had gotten into superheroics due to his desire to impress Elasti-Girl, so he built himself a powerful helmet to amplify his latent psychic powers, and dubbed himself Mento. This would lead him to join the Doom Patrol, and to marry Rita, adopting Beast Boy as well. Suffering from dementia and depression when the Doom Patrol died, Steve overcame it, but even when the Doom Patrol came back, his marriage with Rita fell apart, due to his own abuse of his powers with her. Now semi-retired, he is focusing on his company more.
