Fan Casting Kryptonite Man in Return to the DC Universe

K. Russell Abernathy was a scientist whose star was on the rise, working on a Kryptonite isotope enhancer to help harness its radiation and converting it into usable energy. However, during a time he was going to be interviewed by Lois Lane, Russell ended up caught in a blast from the isotope enhancer overloading, turning him into a Kryptonite Man. As Kryptonite Man, Dr. Abernathy is burning from the radiation, yet he can channel that power into energy blasts from his eyes as well as his mind being lost. Though he has had his energy siphoned by a scheme of Lex Luthor's, sadly, the Kryptonite Man's energies are mainly dormant...
