Originally, Kelex existed on Krypton to aid the House of El, aiding Jor-El with his research. When Krypton was destroyed, Kelex was destroyed too, but his life would be "revived" when the Eradicator had made him and other similar Kryptonian Service Robots. Though he is dedicated to the House of El, Natasha Irons was able to make him more user friendly. After being corrupted by a corrupt member of the Construct's race, Kelex was destroyed, but the Eradicator is able to restore him, and now he works once more for the House of El.
