Fan Casting Dr. Phosphorous in Return to the DC Universe

A nuclear scientist who was a member of the Tobacconists' Club in Gotham City, Dr. Alex Sartorius was tasked to build a nuclear power plant with help from Rupert Thorne, the Club's chair. When a meltdown occurred while he was alone, Sartorius dived for cover behind sandbags, with the meltdown causing him to be hit by irradiated sand, which went from silicon to phosphorus. The process also triggered his metagene, allowing Sartorius to unleash radiation at will. Now, he goes by Dr. Phosphorus, seeking vengeance against Thorn as well as Batman for stopping him from killing Thorne.
