Fan Casting Blue Devil in Return to the DC Universe

A stuntman and special effects wizard from L.A. with skills in mechanical and cybernetic effects, Dan Cassidy dived into superheroics while filming the movie, "Blue Devil", when the demon Nebiros was summoned. Even though he almost died, Danny drove Nebiros, but was cursed to be stuck in his Blue Devil costume. As he fought the good fight and tried to get out of the costume, Danny would die fighting Neron, becoming a real devil, but with a soul. Even if being Blue Devil conflicts with his being a devout Irish Catholic, Danny remains a strong hero, helping in Shadowpact and the JSA.
