Fan Casting Black Vulcan in Return to the DC Universe

A superhero during the long gap from the JSA's retirement to Superman's debut, Black Vulcan was just an ordinary guy before he was caught at an incident at Hoover Dam stopping saboteurs. When he hit into one of the generators, rather than dying or being hurt, Morris's metagene triggered, giving him incredible electromagnetic powers, which he used to fight crime as Black Vulcan. Though he has retired from active crimefighting, Black Vulcan has been an inspiration to many black American superheroes who know of him, including Black Lightning.
