Fan Casting Batwoman in Return to the DC Universe

A military brat, Kate Kane had wanted to be like her parents, who she admired. At the time of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in the military, Kate ended up cast out of West Point for her preference, in spite of excelling in all her classes. Eventually, in a low point of her life, she was saved by Batman, and became inspired by him. In time, she took on the mantle of Batwoman, filling in for a time when Batman was away from the mantle. Though she works alone, she has reformed a relationship with Renee Montoya's Question, and given a spot in the Birds of Prey with Renee.
