Similar to his positive matter counterpart, Alexander "Lex" Luthor is one of his world's smartest men. However, he is much more altruistic, being one of the forces who had stood to the threat Ultraman and the Crime Syndicate stood to his world,. so much he had to travel to the positive matter universe to gain help from the JLA.
