Three years after the events of the last film, Ethan Winters moves to Europe to restart his life with his family, however, his home ends up being invaded by Chris Redfield and his squad, who murder Mia and take Ethan and his daughter Rose. Later, Ethan wakes up next to an overturned truck and ends up arriving in a mysterious village, dominated by a family of lords with supernatural powers and infested with monsters.
