averywilliams In this iteration the mansion is a test run of the Umbrella corps bioweapons, with Billy Coen and a bunch of convicts beng the subjects and Stars Accidently getting involved when Umbrella accidently fails in the cover up. Narrativiely only Chris, Claire and Barry survive with Rebecca dissapearing with Billy to fight against Umbrella from behind the scenes. Wesker is saved by Krauser and his team which include Ada and Hunk and is infected with the virus at that point. The other guest appearences by RE characters are simply appearences as umbrella board members overseeing the testing
