Jill after escaping the Arklay Mountains and being denied investigation by the Umbrella Corporation,along with her companions began to investigate on their own looking for clues and evidence that could reveal to the world who the company really is. And even having fled the horrors of Spencer Mansion,she was still traumatized,having nightmares and not even able to sleep well at night. That is until the day when the city's water was contaminated by the G-Virus and people started to be turned into zombies and devour anyone they come across and it's up to Jill Valentine to face her fears to save as many survivors as possible and escape from Raccoon City.
