When ex-Special Forces soldier Mike Lawson returns to his small hometown for Christmas, he hopes for a quiet holiday with his young daughter, Emma. But his plans are shattered when a group of mercenaries seizes the town on Christmas Eve, taking several people hostage in a heist gone wrong. Their leader, a ruthless ex-military operative named Viktor Kessler, is on the hunt for a valuable artifact believed to be hidden in the town—a mysterious gold cross rumored to be worth millions, passed down through generations at the local church. As the police struggle to contain the situation, Mike takes matters into his own hands. Equipped with only his military instincts, resourcefulness, and a few Christmas lights and decorations, he becomes an unexpected hero. With a series of stealthy, high-stakes confrontations, he begins to take down Viktor’s men one by one. Along the way, Mike has to balance his daring rescue mission with keeping his daughter safe, relying on his wits and making use of improvised “weapons” like garland, Christmas tree ornaments, and even a sharpened candy cane.
