Mike Butters is a Canadian actor and former professional hockey player best known for playing the live-action "TV Game Guy" in the 1999 Japan-exclusive PlayStation game Pepsiman.
Before acting full-time, he played eight years of professional minor league hockey across the AHL, IHL, and ECHL. Moving to California in 1993 to play professional roller hockey led to his first acting auditions in Hollywood.
He has minor parts in two films of 1997, Dante’s Peak (he played the helicopter pilot who rescued Harry and Terry) and Titanic (he played a musician), appeared on TV series such as Z Nation. He’s also best remembered in Saw (2004) as Paul Leahy, Jigsaw's first onscreen trap victim (trapped in razor wire). He reprised the character in several sequel flashbacks.
In 2019, Butters reprised his “TV Game Guy” role in an episode of James Rolfe's comedy web series The Angry Video Game Nerd.
