A chameleon who lived as a pet finds himself in an identity crisis. Rango wonders how to stand out when it's in his nature to camouflage himself. Accidentally, he ends up in a frontier town called Dirt and takes the first step towards transformation by becoming sheriff. Although he initially just acts out, a series of exciting situations and scandalous encounters force Rango to become a true hero.
