Patricia Lea Jenkins (born July 24, 1971) is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. She has directed the feature films Monster (2003), Wonder Woman (2017), and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). For the film Monster, she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature and the Franklin J. Schaffner Award of the American Film Institute (AFI). For the pilot episode of the series The Killing (2011), she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination and the Directors Guild of America award for Best Directing in a Drama Series. Pyro: Child of Rage is a 2026 American psychological thriller film written and directed by Patty Jenkins and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Gore Verbinski from a story by M. Night Shyamalan and Verbinski. The sequel to Pyro, it stars Sasha Calle in the title role, alongside Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Aldis Hodge, and Uma Thurman. Two years after the first film, Brittany Houston and her new girlfriend Amy Willis must defend themselves against the new commissioner of New York Police Department , who is also Amy's brother, after he provokes Brittany over her "crimes" against her late father. Pyro: Child of Rage was released on December 20th, 2026; it received widespread acclaim for its visual effects and the performances of Calle and Clemons, with many deeming it as equal to the first film.
