Kevin works as a grocery store clerk, but faces budget problems. To fix this he works as a con man, using his best friend Max as a partner. After a few successful cons Kevin feels like he's had enough until he and Max hit the jackpot: Henry Rodman, an extravagant millionaire. Eager to get the money they need Kevin and Max pull off a con on Rodman. Once it goes successfully Kevin feels like he can finally relax and uses this time to get close to his neighbor Elise. However, Rodman is not as cheerful as his public persona leads people to believe, and becomes obsessed with getting his money back. As Rodman becomes more aggressive with his tactics Kevin must do everything he can to keep himself and the people close to him safe.
