Roger Hayden has always been emotionally closed off from the rest of the world. As a child he witnessed his mother get murdered by his psychiatrist father, after that he refused to trust any psychiatrists all throughout his childhood. I’m present day he works at Arkham Asylum, it was the only place that was hiring. He soon comes across an artifact that changes everything. With its powers he can finally let go of the lock around his emotions and he soon becomes a threat to any and all who cross him. He’s The Psycho Pirate. read more

Vikki arrived in Gotham off of a train and she’s sitting on a bench observing the city. She sees a man reading a newspaper about The Psycho Pirate Caper. She asks if the city is always this eventful and the man snickers saying “Kid, you have no idea”. Vikki then asks how often these huge news stories occur, the man says all the time. He then turns around and asks “You a reporter?” She nods, he smiles “Me too, names Alexzander Knox, but friends just call me Knox, how about you?” The blonde smiles and says “Vikki Vale”.
