On prom day, Hannah Stalbaum is about to graduate from Shadyhill High School and head off to college. But her psychosis ex-boyfriend, Nick Falconer, poses as the Killing Clown, dressed in a prom suit, attempts to murder teens at the prom, stalks her, and wants her to be with him. Will Hannah and her friends have to save themselves from the Killing Clown?
