Mikey was a girl. Was. He didn’t feel like one though. While girls wanted makeup, Mikey wanted a Nintendo. While the girls wore super short jeans and tank tops, Mikey wore army green cargo pants, sweaters, and beanies. His friends felt different as well. Kyle was gay, and Makayla was aro/ace. They were all known as the weirdos of Lakeside. Especially Mikey. The golden couple, Jack, and Genesis, who were the most popular pre-teens, always made fun of them. Genesis kept saying that Makayla was too weird to date and Jack kept saying that Kyle had something against women. And they all kept saying that Mikey was insane, but he felt comfortable with he/him pronouns. They all try to be cool, but Jack and Genesis don’t care and see right through them so the only way to be accepted is to bring them down.
