A T-800 Terminator was sent back in time for one reason, to terminate John Connor. Meanwhile, a Predator stalks what appears to be a serial killer, killing victim after victim until the Predator decides it's worth hunting. Additionally, the Predator mask's vision modes show some odd readings from the man due to his unnatural strength. The Predator attacks the quarry only for it to shrug off blade, disc, and staff attacks. Even the shoulder cannon doesn't kill it. Description of John Connor (Adult):

John Connor, the son of Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese, is the leader of the worldwide human Resistance, as well as the more specialized Tech-Com during the War Against the Machines. Skynet, the supercomputer mainframe of the machines, decides that John Connor is the focal point of the rebellion and that his termination would end the opposition. After repeated failures at terminating John during the war, Skynet decides to use a time displacement device to send Terminators to various points in the past in an attempt to terminate him before the war even begins.
