Description of Ted Mars (Train Quasar #7: Purple):

Ted Mars is the seventh Train Quasar Guardian. He was also the leader of the first team of TQG Rangers who fought against the Dark Line in the 70s, alongside Herbert and Victoria. He used the Dark Mask of Zaram in order to destroy Emperor Zero. This, however, led to him becoming a monster, so he was sealed away as punishment. 30 years later, he is freed and traps the rangers under the ground up until Kenny destroys the mask. Upon his freedom, he only fights in combat when he is needed, as he feels that if he fights too much, it might cause him to harm others.
