The Black Hoshiranger and counterpart to Lucas. However, she also has similarities to Mei since both are athletic tomboys. Chika is a member of Osamu's swimming, track & field, and basketball teams, and she practices martial arts, making her the most skilled and athletic fighter on the team. A loner at heart, Chika prefers a little solitude from the rest of the world but also treasures the connections she forms with her friends. She also hides a not-so-secret crush on fellow Ranger Sasuke Sugiyama, a fact that he pretends to be unaware of because he finds it adorable how Chika struggles to confess her feelings for him. Chika pilots the Black Vulture Robo as the Black Hoshiranger. "Bokudo Henshin Black!"
